Countries included in the European Economic Area
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom and United Kingdom (includes French Caribbean, Reunion Island and Gibraltar).
We remind you that Andorra, Monaco and Switzerland are not European Union countries. In these countries the Base Roaming Tariff will be applied according to the applicable zone.

Roaming within the European Economic Area (EEA)
Roaming within the European Economic Area is simple and includes the entire European Union, the French Caribbean, Reunion, Gibraltar, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.
Andorra, Monaco and Switzerland are not European Union countries. In these countries the basic roaming tariff will apply according to the applicable zone.
Although the United Kingdom is no longer in the European Union, the same EEA roaming conditions still apply.

Talking in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK costs the same as in Portugal
Calls, video calls, text and MMS made to EEA countries and the UK cost the same as in Portugal, tariff for other national networks. The same applies to mobile data usage.
If your national tariff includes voice calls and/or text to other national networks, communications you make while roaming to Portugal or to EEA and UK destinations will be deducted from that allowance. The roaming prices and conditions of your national tariff can be found at:

Communications not included
Communications made to other countries (not included in the list above). Example: if a voice call is made from Spain to Switzerland, it will be paid according to the roaming tariff (calls to other countries).
Premium calls and text .
Communications on boats and airplanes.
Calls made to Customer Support lines and special numbers (non-geographic services) are billed at the price of voice communications made outside the national allowance.

Voice mail consultation
Voice mail consultation in roaming is not free as in Portugal, as it corresponds to a call made to Portugal. In the EEA and United Kingdom the price of a call to other national networks will be applied.

If you have subscribed to another roaming plan, the respective conditions apply.

Roaming Prevalence
The UZO may control roaming consumption by checking, over a minimum period of 4 months, whether traffic consumed while roaming in the European Union, Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland and the United Kingdom prevails over traffic consumed in Portugal and other countries (> 50%) and whether presence in the European Union, Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland and the United Kingdom prevails over presence in Portugal and other countries (> 50%).
If the consumption pattern described above does not change after a minimum period of 2 weeks, UZO reserves the right to charge a surcharge for traffic roamed in the European Union, Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland and the United Kingdom in accordance with the rules of the Responsible Use Policy applied in these countries.
