  • How to switch to UZO

    Visit your nearest kioskfor fast, personalized service. 
    You can also handle everything conveniently through our website. To switch your mobile carrier to UZO while keeping the same mobile phone number, follow these steps:


    1. Choose a plan and sign upon the UZO website. When filling out the online sign-up form, select the option “I want to keep my current number.” To sign up for a plan without top-ups, proceed to step 2

    2. Check the number portability validation code (CVP) from the other carrier on your bill orthrough the channels indicated by your current carrier

    3. Download, fill out the portability form, and send it to portabilidade@uzo.pt

    4. While waiting for your documents to be validated, you can continue to use your current carrier's SIM card

    5. The new SIM card will be sent by mail

    6. You will receive a text the date and time when the number porting is complete — that is, when your mobile phone number mobile phone UZO. 

    7. Portability is carried out within a maximum of 3 working days from the date the portability request is received at the UZO

    8. On mobile phone, replace the other operator's SIM card with the new UZO SIM card received.

  • Portability conditions

    Number portability—that is, switching to UZO while keeping the same phone number ( mobile phone)—is a free service. 


    When you request to port your number from mobile phone, you will receive a SIM UZO card, but you won't use it right away:

    • While your number portability request is being processed, you can continue to use your current SIM card

    • You will receive a text on your current carrier's network) indicating the date and time you will switch to UZO

    • On the day and at the time of the number portability process, the SIM card SIM your current carrier will stop working

    • At that point, you should insert the SIM card into your mobile phone the number porting process is complete.


    After UZO receives the correctly filled out form and the required documents, the portability takes place within 3 business days.


    If you would like the transfer to take place at a later date, you can specify the date you prefer on the transfer form.


    To activate the message:“Warning: You are calling a customer number that now belongs to UZO. Please wait,” call theSupport Lines(see the rate schedule) and select the “portability notice” option.

  • How UZO TV works

    UZO TV works through an app and is available for Android devices (Smart TV, set-top box, dongle, or TV stick) running operating system version 10 or higher. If your TV isn't compatible with the UZO TV app, purchase the UZO TV stick and the cost will be added to your bill.
    To use it, just sign up for UZO's NET fibre service and download the TV UZO app.


    Then whenever you want to watch TV, just log in to the UZO TV app and choose the channel. You have at your disposal the content you like best, movies and series, children's, entertainment, lifestyle, music, information and much more.
    You can also watch programmes from the last 7 days with Automatic Recordings, continue watching programmes where you left off, use pause & play and consult the programming in Guia TV. Simple and uncomplicated.


    The UZO TV service allows you to connect up to 4 devices, considering any compatible device (Android TV with operating system version 10 or higher).
  • How to receive the TV Stick value offer

    When you sign up for UZO TV with the TV Stick option, once you’ve paid for the device (via MB Way or Multibanco reference number), the TV Stick will be shipped to the address you provided.

    To receive a credit for the cost of the TV Stick on your first bill, you must register your service in the my UZO app and request a refund. In the my UZO app, follow these steps:
    • Select " Profile" from the app menu
    • In the Order Management section, select Support Orders
    • Select CREATE ORDER
    • Select the " Invoices and Shipments" tab
    • Select the subject: TV Stick – Refund Request
    • Select the service that includes the TV Stick
    • Fill in theORDER DESCRIPTIONandCONTINUE

    You can also submit a refund request in the the " customer UZO" customer area, following the same steps.

  • What to do if the TV Stick breaks or you want to return it

    Replacements due to defects will be provided throughout the warranty period, provided that the equipment shows no signs of misuse (damaged, broken, etc.).

    In the event of a malfunction, you must return the equipment (return the USB flash drive and the remote control, even if only one of the components is defective), along with the purchase receipt and the duly completedTechnical Support Request form.


    Xiaomi TV Stick
    Contact the supplier directly via email at care.xiaomi@tamet.pt or by phone at 229 059 430 (weekdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.), and they will pick up the defective device and return it after repair.

  • What does the Net fibre Mobile or Net fibre Mobile + TV service include?

    The Net fibre Mobile or Net fibre Mobile + TV service includes:

    1. Net Fixed: 
    Internet access at speeds of 1 Gbps.
    FiberGateway WiFi 6 router available for rent at a rate of €2.99 per month, as long as the service remains active;
    Free installation and activation with the contract option.

    2. Mobile:

    Unlimited minutes and 1,000 texts to all domestic networks, plus mobile data that can be used in Portugal or while roaming in European Economic Area countries, Ukraine, Moldova, and the United Kingdom.
    Charge per minute/sms in 10 Kb blocks on mobile data.
    The default value of a " extra monthly fee " is €30, but you can choose €10 at the time of sale. Learn about the other rules associated with the value of the extra monthly fee.


    3. TV:

    This service is available to customers with fibre internet access. It requires a device running Android TV 10 or higher, certified by Google. You can download the UZO TV app on a Smart TV or use an Android TV Stick, Dongle, or Box. See the compatible devices.
  • How can I subscribe to the Net fibre + Mobile tariff?

    You can sign up through the my UZO app, the uzo.pt website, through a UZO specialist, or by calling 16205. Visit your nearest Quiosque for fast, personalized service.

    My UZO App
    • On the app's home page, click " LEARN MORE " under "Pricing"
    • Then click on the button that says, "Hi, need help?"
    • Finally, write down the number so they can call you toll-free



    If you are not yet a UZO customer member, when you sign up for this service, you will receive your new mobile phone card at your registered address. If you sign up at a UZO kiosk, you will receive your card immediately upon signing up.
    If you made the appointment at the sale, you will receive a text with the information of when the installation will be made, if you made it online, you will be contacted for appointment.

    To check or change the date or time, select the link sent in the text.
    At the agreed date and time, the technicians will come to your home to install the fixed service, which will be available immediately.
    The mobile SIM card will only be active after the fixed service has been installed. If you are a customer from another operator, you will have to wait for the portability request to be completed.

  • Is there a contract with the Net fibre Mobile plan?

  • UZO cards

    UZO Sales Card 100 GB + 2000 MIN + 50 texts
    This card comes with the UZO 100 GB+2000+50 texts plan.

    The SIM card includes:
    • First 4 weeks free (monthly plafonds of 100GB and 2000 MIN and 50 texts during the 4 weeks included)
    • 50GB bonus, valid for 30 days, on any top-up €5 or more

    The 100GB mobile data allowance, for use during 30 days in Portugal and while roaming in the European Economic Area, Ukraine, Moldova, and the United Kingdom, has a Responsible Use Policy (RUP) of 30GB while roaming. Once the RUP has been used up, the traffic consumed will continue to be deducted from the national limit, plus €0.0014/MB.

    The offer of 50GB of mobile data on top-ups of €5 or more is valid for use for 30 days, within Portugal and when roaming in the European Economic Area, Ukraine, Moldova, and the United Kingdom. 



    UZO Sales Card 20 GB + 2000 MIN + 50 text/day
    This card now has the same terms and conditions as the UZO 100 GB + 2000 MIN + 50 text Prepaid Card.



    UZO 40 GB Data Plan + 1,000 Minutes + 50 text

    This SIM card comes with the UZO 40 GB+1000+50 text plan.


    The SIM card includes:

    • First 4 weeks free (monthly plafonds of 40GB and 1000 MIN and 50 texts during the 4 weeks included)

    • 50GB bonus, valid for 30 days, on any top-up €5 or more

     

    The 40GB mobile data allowance, for use during 30 days in Brazil and while roaming in the European Economic Area, Ukraine, Moldova, and the United Kingdom, has a Fair Use Policy (FUP) of 20GB while roaming. Once the RUP has been used up, the traffic consumed will continue to be deducted from the national limit, plus €0.0014/MB.

    The offer of 50GB of mobile data on top-ups of €5 or more is valid for use for 30 days, within Portugal and when roaming in the European Economic Area, Ukraine, Moldova, and the United Kingdom. 



    UZO Sales SIM Card 6 GB + 1000 MIN + 50 text/day

    This card now has the same terms and conditions as the UZO 40 GB + 1,000 MIN + 50 text/day Prepaid Card.




    UZO Prepaid Card: 5 GB + 1,000 Minutes + 50 text

    This card comes with the UZO 5GB+1000+50 texts plan.


    The SIM card includes:

    • 2 free weeks (monthly plan caps 5GB + 1000 MIN + 50 text included), for use in national territory

    • + 5GB bonus on the 1st top-up (minimum value €7.50), for use in Portugal and roaming in the EEA and UK



    UZO Sales Card 1 GB + 1000 MIN + 50 texts/day

    This card will have the same conditions as the UZO 5GB + 1000 MIN + 50 texts Sales Card from 24/07/2025.


    The SIM card includes:

    • 2 free weeks (monthly tariff caps 1GB + 1000 MIN + 50 texts/day included), for use on national territory

    • + 5GB bonus on the 1st top-up (minimum value €7.50), for use in Portugal and roaming in the EEA and UK



    UZO Sales Card With No Obligatory Top-ups

    This SIM card has the UZO No Top-ups plan associated with it.


    The SIM card includes:

    • 5.00 of initial balance for national networks for 30 days

    • + €10 in bonuses: €5 on the first top-up and €5 on the second top-up of €5 or more.

    • + 15GB bonus: 5GB for 30 days on the first 3 top-ups equal to or greater than €7.50
    To keep your card active, you must make a paid call or send a text —using your prepaid balance—at least once every 120 days.



    UZO Gift Card Without Mandatory Top-ups

    This SIM card has the UZO No Top-ups plan associated with it.

    The SIM card includes:

    • €0,00 starting balance

    • + €15 in bonuses: €5 on the first, second and third top-ups of €5 or more

    • + 500MB bonus + 2,000 text (valid between UZO without compulsory top-ups) on all top-ups from €7.5.


    To keep your card active, you must make a paid call or send a text —using your prepaid balance—at least once every 120 days.

     


    UZO Ukraine Gift Card

    This SIM card has the UZO No Top-ups plan associated with it.

    The SIM card includes:

    • 5.00 of initial balance for national networks for 30 days

  • Where to buy UZO SIM cards

    UZO cards are available at UZO kiosks, at Galp, BP, Prio and Cepsa petrol stations and at kiosks and stationery shops.
    You can alsorequesta free UZO card with no mandatory top-ups, which comes with €15 in credit (€5 per top-up for the first 3 top-ups of €5 or more).

    If you switch from your current carrier to UZO, you'll also be able to take advantage of the card offer.
  • Validity of the UZO cards unactivated

    New UZO cards, when purchased separately, must be activated within one year, except for cards whose expiration date (e.g., 180 days) is printed on the card packaging.

    If they are associated with a mobile phone, they must be activated within 3 months of the mobile phone activation date.

    After the indicated period, if you have not activated it, the SIM card is cancelled and you will need to purchase a new SIM card.

    If the expiration date is printed on the card packaging, that is the valid date.

     

  • How to keep the UZO SIM card active

    For the UZO plan with no mandatory top-ups, to keep the UZO SIM card active, simply make a paid call or a text paid for with your prepaid balance every 120 days. Otherwise, the card will eventually expire and you will lose your balance.

    For the following plans—top-up UZO 5GB+1000 MIN+50 text/day, UZO 40GB+1000 MIN+50 text/day, and UZO 100GB+2000 MIN+50 text/day—you must have a balance available to cover the weekly charges.


    Once the card has been deactivated, it cannot be reactivated


  • How do I change my billing plan?

    To change your billing plan, you can: 

    - App my UZO
    • Select theSERVICESoptionfromthe app menu
    • Select the mobile phone you want to change
    • Go to theSERVICE section
    • Select the "Terms and Conditions" option under "TERMS OF SERVICE"
    • Select "Change Rate Plan"
    • Select aplan andclickNEXT


    - Go to the customer rea on my UZO > select SERVICES > choose the mobile phone > in the Rate Planssection, select CHANGE>view the available rate plans >follow the steps.

    - Call the Helplines (see therate schedule)


    Changes take effect immediately and are limited to one change every 30 days.

    You cannot switch from a postpaid plan to a prepaid plan.

  • How to change my tariff with shipments

    You can change your rate plan at any time by:


    -my UZO app
    • Select the SERVICESoption fromthe app menu
    • Select the mobile phone you want to change
    • Go to the SERVICE section
    • Select the " Terms and Conditions" option under "TERMS OF SERVICE"
    • Select the PREPAID option and choose Change plan
    • Select a plan and click NEXT



    - Go to the customer rea on my UZO > selectSERVICES> choose the mobile phone > in the "Tariff Plans" section, select "CHANGE" > view the available plans > follow the steps.


    - Call the Support Lines (see tariff)

    If you want to switch between prepaid plans, you can also do so by text by sending the following messages to 16205:
    • CHANGE UZO5GB
    • CHANGE UZO40GB
    • CHANGE UZO100GB
    • CHANGE USEWITHOUT SHIPMENTS


     

    NOTES:

    • Switching to a tariff with a weekly charge means that you have enough top-up balance to be charged the weekly charge of the target tariff.
    • Changes to the UZO rate plan without mandatory top-ups will cost €8.00, unless it is the first rate plan change during the card's lifetime.
    • On the UZO website, you can switch top-up a top-up plan top-up a postpaid plan.
    • You cannot switch from a postpaid plan (billed monthly) to a prepaid plan ( top-up).
    • In the case of changes to postpaid, they are immediate and limited to 1 change per 30 days.
  • What is the 0.015 EUR per MB rate for data usage in prepaid mobile phone plans?

    If your prepaid plan does not include a data allowance, or if you use up your data allowance and continue to use the internet, you will be charged €0.015 per MB.

    This Pay as You Go tariff has no usage limit, but is limited to the value of the balance and you can set one of the following limits: Block or 0€, 3€, 7.5€, 15€ or 30€.

    To block or set the maximum value of this cost, send text free of charge with the word LIMIT to 12300.

    This rate is available nationally and when roaming in the European Economic Area, Ukraine, Moldova, and the United Kingdom.

    If you want to know how much you have spent, you can go to the my UZO app, send text with NET to 12300, or dial *#123# followed by the call button.

  • Extra Data

    If you've used up your data allowance and need to keep browsing, here's how to add more data. There are several one-time data add-ons to choose from.

    These limits apply in Portugal, the European Economic Area (EEA), Ukraine, Moldova, and the United Kingdom. At the end of the 24-hour period or the 7- or 15-day period, they are automatically canceled.


    You can add more data at any time by:

    - App my UZO
    • Select the "Services " optionfrom the app menu
    • Select the mobile phone to which you want to add more data
    • Go to the SERVICE section
    • Select "Mais net " in the TERMS OF SERVICE
    • Choose how many gigas you want to add and click Next
    • Finally, read the terms and conditions and click CONFIRM SIGN-UP FOR NET EXTRA


    - customer 's My UZO Area > Select the mobile phone > in theInternetsectionof mobile phone,clickAdd Internet >choose one ofthe data plans >Sign Up > Confirm.

    - Text "text " with the word "NET" to 12090 and select the spending limit you want to activate.

  • UZO + Plan

    This plan lets you call 45 international destinations at much lower per-minute rates, starting at 1 cent per minute.

    You can sign up at any time by:

    • Select the mobile phone to which you want to add the plan
    • In the FEATURES section, click " See All"
    • Select UZO+ Plan
    • Finally, click " ACTIVATE UZO+ PLAN" or " DEACTIVATE UZO+ PLAN"

  • Why will there no longer be free mobile data for websites and apps?

    In compliance with the decision by ANACOM, the electronic communications regulator, regarding zero-rating and similar offers in Portugal in the context of the open Internet, as of June 8, 2023, free data for apps and websites on mobile networks will, in most cases, no longer be available; therefore, data used will be deducted from the mobile data allowance.

    This ANACOM decision applies across the board to the electronic communications sector, affecting MEO as well as the other operators that provide mobile data service.
