What is 5G technology?
5G technology is the evolution of the mobile network to the 5th generation.
5G allows for higher speeds, shorter response times (latency) and a more robust network, capable of delivering quality Internet and Voice, even in areas and situations with more access, providing a better user experience with several devices connected simultaneously, wherever you are.
-
What are the main benefits of 5G technology?
5G technology makes it possible to take greater advantage of mobile data services and opens the door to a new world of innovations and opportunities.
A wide range of industries and sectors can be redefined through the massification of the Internet of Things, from retail to education, transportation and entertainment, and much more.
-
In what situations do I feel the speed of 5G technology?
Whether it's pauses in the middle of a series or a game freezing up when you're just getting to the end, with 5G technology these problems disappear. With a speed that allows large downloads in seconds, there is a generation of entertainment, without stops or delays.
The result? An even faster experience for always playing on top of the enemy or finishing watching the series without pausing.
-
Why does 5G technology have more capacity?
In situations such as not being able to access the internet or make a call, 5G technology is the solution to these problems, being able to deliver quality internet and voice even in areas and situations with more access. After all, sharing doesn't choose times or places.

What do I need to use 5G?
To enjoy 5G, you need a 5G device and to be in an area with 5G coverage.
5G already covers 96% of the Portuguese population and is available in all the district capitals of mainland Portugal and the islands.
All UZO tariffs are 5G, you don't need a specific tariff.
Invoice tariffs have maximum speed as a basic feature.
Top-up tariffs with a base plafond greater than or equal to 10GB browse at maximum speed, while other prepaid tariffs browse at speeds of up to 40Mbps.
